Pyramid power (Gaylordsville54)
A scenic ride from Gaylordsville that doesn’t go through Kent. Along the way we go through a covered bridge, climb a dirt road (smooth and hard packed) through a maple syrup operation, ride down the Clove valley and back over the ridge to Pawling where we will pass a meditation site in a pyramid enhanced with crystals, then over the North end of Quaker hill finishing with the ever popular Spring lake. 54 miles with 4400 feet of ascent, mostly in three climbs of 5-600 feet each. Options to refuel are a deli in Poughquaug, Mckinney and Doyle in Pawling, or Big W’s barbecue.
Saturday May 14
